StarkSight is a product of Teandy SRL. It is a platform that specializes in social exchanges and market data analytics for blockchain-based projects.
On StarkSight, users can share, discuss, and analyze their favorite NFTs with other members of the community. StarkSight includes several websites, a Discord Server, a Discord Bot.

2. What data do we collect?

We currently collect and process the following information:

  1. All users
    • Anonymous Website Usage statistics.
  2. Authenticated users
    • All the posts, comments, likes, followers, and all other types of interactions with other Users and Projects of the Platform
    • Crypto wallet addresses of the User if
      • used as authentication factor
      • linked to the account's wallet addresses (privately or publicly shared on StarkSight)
    • If using Discord to authenticate: username, profile picture, email address
  3. Subscribers
    • personal identification information such as email address, and financial information

As we have collected and processed your personal information with your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.

You directly provide StarkSight with most of the data we collect. We collect, aggregate, and process your data when you:

Additionally, StarkSight partners with several third-party services to enhance the functionality and security of our platform. These services assist us in collecting and processing additional data:

  • https://stripe.com: When you go through the subscription checkout process, you provide data related to billing to Stripe, our payment processing partner.

  • https://plausible.io As you interact with our website, specific usage information is sent to Plausible.io. Plausible.io, a privacy-focused web analytics software, collects anonymized website usage statistics to help us understand user behavior and improve our services. This may include information about how you interact with our platform, such as pages visited, time spent on pages, and other usage data.

Responsible Third-Party Services

While our service includes features that are operated in conjunction with third-party services, we want to assure our users that we have selected these providers due to their commitment to the principles of legality, fairness, transparency, data minimization, accuracy, storage limitation, integrity, and confidentiality, as they align with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

The information collected by these third-party services, including personal data, is processed under their own privacy policies. While we make it a priority to choose partners who follow these principles, we cannot control or be held responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. The information practices of these third parties are not covered by this Privacy Policy. Therefore, we recommend our users remain informed and careful about their digital privacy.

4. How will we use your data?

We use your data in the following ways to operate our platform and deliver our services:

  • Browsing activity: Through Plausible.io, we gather anonymized statistics related to user behavior and website usage. We utilize this information to improve our services and enhance your user experience.

  • Interaction with StarkSight and other users: We process and store information related to your interactions on our platform, such as authentication, posts, comments, likes, follows, wallet addresses.
    This information forms part of your user profile and contributes to the community engagement on our platform.

  • Subscription/payment: Your payment information is directly entered into a form provided by Stripe when you subscribe to our premium services. Upon successful payment, Stripe provides us with a proof of payment, which enables us to update your subscription status and generate an invoice.

  • Customers and Billing: We use Odoo to manage customer billing information. This includes your name, email address, and payment details, if you provided them to Stripe or directly to us, and are securely stored by Odoo. This ensures that your subscription is correctly linked to your account, and all payments are properly invoiced.

Your data will not be shared with any third party unrelated to StarkSight and the provision of its services unless it is part of anonymized aggregated data.

5. How do we store your data?

Your data is securely housed within Europe, in strict adherence to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) guidelines. We leverage the infrastructure of Supabase, which employs Amazon Web Services (AWS) servers located within Europe, for storing user-uploaded images.

We utilize Platform.sh to facilitate storage of crucial service-related data encompassing user interactions, profile details, and community activity. The databases are hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) servers based in Sweden, Europe. This particular location was thoughtfully selected in accordance with our commitment to environmental sustainability, as evidenced by its low Energy Grid Carbon Intensity score of approximately 24 gCO2eq/kWh.

Why Platform.sh

Data Protection: Platform.sh has a robust data protection infrastructure that ensures user data is secure. They follow a comprehensive set of IT security policies, which include a Vulnerability, Severity and Remediation Management Policy, a Vulnerability Scanning and Penetration Testing Policy, a Password Policy, and a Data Access Policy. This ensures that all data is thoroughly secured and protected against breaches.

Authentication Measures: To avoid unauthorized access to user data, Platform.sh has a Password Policy that requires strong passwords and frequent password changes. Additionally, a Password Reset Policy is in place to ensure a secure process for restoring access to accounts when passwords are lost or forgotten.

Data Breach and Incident Management: In the event of a data breach, Platform.sh follows a stringent Data Breach Policy that aligns with GDPR and other best practices. They also have an Incident Management Policy and a Security Incident Management Policy to effectively handle any security incidents and protect user data.

Regulation Compliance: Platform.sh's operations are GDPR-compliant, ensuring that data is processed and stored in accordance with privacy regulations. Their data retention periods also align with GDPR and other best practices. They are also PCI-DSS compliant, even though they do not handle credit card information, providing an additional layer of trust and security.

Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery: In the event of service disruption, Platform.sh has a Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plan to recover its services quickly and effectively.

Data Destruction: Platform.sh follows a Data Destruction Policy that ensures data is disposed of when it's no longer necessary for business use.

Vendor Management: All suppliers and vendors are reviewed thoroughly for security and privacy measures before entering into an agreement with them, as per Platform.sh's Vendor Management Policy.

Other

Other third-party services we use, including Stripe, Supabase, Plausible.io, and Odoo, store the data they process according to their own secure procedures and standards thoroughly described on their website as well. We recommend reviewing their respective privacy policies for further information.

Despite these safeguards, please be aware that no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

StarkSight will keep your data for a period of 5 years after your last use of the platform. Once this time period has expired, we will delete your data from all our storage and platforms.

6. International Transfers of Your Personal Data

ALL DATA YOU PROVIDE ON OUR PLATFORM TO BE PUBLICLY SHARED (EXCLUDING YOUR PRIVATELY LINKED WALLETS) MAY BE TRANSFERRED INTERNATIONALLY TO SERVE USERS GLOBALLY. SUCH DATA MAY BE STORED, USUALLY TEMPORARILY, TO IMPROVE PERFORMANCE IN DELIVERING CONTENT (SUCH AS IMAGES) TO DISTANT LOCATIONS. THIS MAY OCCUR OUTSIDE OF EUROPE, WHERE DATA PROTECTION LAWS MAY DIFFER FROM THOSE IN YOUR JURISDICTION. BY USING OUR PRODUCTS, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE FULLY UNDERSTOOD THIS INFORMATION AND EXPLICITLY AGREE TO THIS. WHEN POSTING IMAGES THAT INCLUDE OTHER INDIVIDUALS, YOU MUST ENSURE THAT ALL PERSONS DEPICTED IN THE IMAGE HAVE AGREED TO THESE TERMS, UNLESS THE IMAGE IS ALREADY PUBLICLY AVAILABLE AND ONLY DEPICTS PUBLIC FIGURES. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO OBTAIN EXPLICIT CONSENT FROM NON-PUBLIC FIGURES PRIOR TO POSTING SUCH IMAGES. RE-PUBLICATION OF IMAGES FOUND ONLINE SHOULD ALWAYS RESPECT COPYRIGHT LAWS. FAILURE TO COMPLY MAY RESULT IN REMOVAL OF THE IMAGES AND POTENTIAL TERMINATION OF YOUR ACCOUNT.

7. Marketing

Cookies will not be used for marketing purposes.

8. What are your data protection rights?

The GDPR and all the legislation related to data treatment apply to all the data collected by StarkSight.

Right to access: you have the right to request copies of your personal data.

Right to rectification: you have the right to ask to correct any information that may be inaccurate or to complete information that may be incomplete.

Right to erasure: you have the right to request that all your personal data is erased under certain conditions. In particular, this request must be made in writing directly to StarSight at the address given in point 15 hereof. Thus, your account will be marked as "Deleted User account" and publicly shared activity will remain freely accessible by other users.

Right to retain data's. We may continue to retain your information or information about you even after you request deletion of your data if such retention is reasonably necessary to comply with our legal obligations, to resolve disputes, prevent fraud and abuse, enforce our Terms or other agreements, and/or protect our legal rights and other interests.
